Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ChangeMyPDF. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Read them carefully.

Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account, including keeping your password safe. One person per account. Sharing credentials breaches these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal content, including CSAM, terrorism-related material, or stolen data.
• Use ChangeMyPDF to bypass copyright, DRM, or licensing restrictions you don't have rights to.
• Attempt to break or probe our security without prior written authorisation.
• Use our tools to harass, defraud, or impersonate others.

Billing

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your billing portal — your plan stays active until the end of the current period. Refunds are available within 30 days of the most recent charge.

Service levels

We target 99.95% availability for the API and dashboard. We're not liable for downtime caused by force majeure, third-party providers, or your own configuration mistakes. Enterprise customers receive a written SLA.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time from settings.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Free-plan users: your remedy is to stop using the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County.
